Audi Quattro B2/B3/B4 Front Tubular Subframe

After extensive CAD development based on 3D scanning of OEM subframes, CAD FEA (Finite Element Analysis) testing, and road testing, you can now purchase brand new, rust-free subframes for your Audi Coupe Quattro. Utilizing the same T45 tubing found in WRC cars, our subframes provide increased stiffness and reduced weight. Additional control arm mounting points allow for adjustment of the control arms for a horizontal position when the car is loaded.

Characteristics:
- 7.2 kg, a 5.5 kg saving compared to the OEM subframe
- T45 pipes (BS4T45 (A2) to BS5T100 and BS6 S100) imported from the UK and S355 sheets
- all elements welded using the TIG method
- delivered painted (powder coated) in black or on special order (50 euros) in any RAL color

T45 is a unique seamless carbon-based steel tube used in a variety of applications across industries. It is stronger than the Co-Mo 4130 inner tube also used in motorsports. It is widely used in the aerospace sector in equipment such as pilot and crew seats due to the materials' ability to withstand high G-forces without cracking or fracturing. This material is carbon-manganese-based and complies with full British Standards aerospace specifications.

Hardness test: 201 min – 262 max HB or 210 min – 275 max HV.
