Using the same T45 tubing as found in WRC cars, our subframes provide increased stiffness and weight reduction. All factory parts are bolted to this unit, no other modifications are necessary.

T45 is a very unique seamless carbon based steel tube used in many applications across various industries. It is stronger than the Co-Mo 4130 inner tube also used in motorsport. It is widely used in the aerospace sector in equipment such as pilot and crew seats due to the materials ability to withstand high G-forces without cracking or breaking. This material is carbon manganese based and complies with full aerospace specifications set by British Standards.

Hardness test: 201 min – 262 max HB or 210 min – 275 max HV.

Note: Sold exclusively for off-road, track, and racing applications. Installing this product will result in additional NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) being transmitted into the cabin. We strongly recommend having the subframe installed by a qualified and experienced workshop that knows what they're doing.

A newer Gen3 steering rack should be used. See photo below. In some pre-2008 cars, the old rack was installed. It is possible to replace the old rack with a new one. The Gen3 rack requires wiring harness 1K2 971 111 AJ if installed in a car with a Gen 1 or Gen 2 rack rail. Find three links that may be helpful when replacing LINK1 , LINK2 , and LINK3. It is the customer's responsibility to check if the modification is possible at a workshop if they want to install a sound system before purchasing.
