Technical Insights:

Adjusting suspension parameters such as camber or caster angles often impacts other dynamics like track width or roll center height. The VERKLINE kit addresses these interdependencies, allowing precise control over all key settings.

Similar situation is observed when You change the camber angle in the 5-link suspension (rear axle) which usually also impacts the bump steer curve. Below You can find rear bump steer curves for different static camber angle values in the OEM Porsche 991 GT3 / RS / GT2 RS.

As You can see from the graph above, when You run track oriented, high camber angle values like -2,5° or more, the toe variation is significantly bigger than with the factory specified -1,5° camber angle.

With the Verkline suspension kit, You get the possibility to adjust Your bump steer and static camber independently as you can observer in the graph above. Additionally the bump steer curve has been linearised to get a more constant bump steer slope throughout the whole travel.

Using the included rear trailing arm (WAS-341), you can set the uniball center to achieve your desired static camber angle and bump steer value. For initial setups, we recommend a bump steer of 2 °/m (degrees of toe change per meter of suspension travel) for optimal performance.
